I have always loved Halloween since I was a little girl, and I am seeing the same enthusiasm as Madeline grows older. She was so excited when I asked her to go get her pumpkin that she had gotten at the pumpkin patch so that we could carve it. She had her own play knife, ladle, and spoons to clean the pumpkin. She is so proud of the finished product! We'll have more Halloween post throughout the week.

It's Looking Like Fall Ya'll
We kicked off the season at Heather's Pumpkin Patch near Albany Wednesday. This was Madeline's first field trip at her new school. It's beautiful out on that farm, and there was a lot for the kids to do such as a petting zoo, pic nics, facepainting, choosing a pumpkin, and swinging to name a few. Unfortunately, my camera's batteries ran down, so I only got a picture of Madeline's class listening to Ms. Heather tell about growing pun'kins.
Last night Madeline and I went to the Fall Festival at Oak Forest. It was a lot of fun, and Madeline got to do everything from going fishing to participating in the cake walk. The highlight of the night is when she was the prize-lady while we were working her class's booth.
