First of all, per request of Madeline, I changed our background to a New Moon theme. My 5 year-old daughter loves Edward the vampire. I guess it's partly my fault. I love the Twilight series, too. Back to the Easy Bake oven. This was our first time using the oven. This thing seems to have changed since I was little. First of all, I could not figure out how to "open" the oven door. Then, I figured out that you don't open the door. The door is for cosmetic purposes only. Once I figured out how to slide the food through the side...we were cookin', well, I was cookin. Madeline mixed the cookie dough and waited for one cookie to bake, and then her assistance as a cook was history. In the meantime, it took me another hour to bake 5 more cookies, one at a time. They were pretty good, but tiny. Our next adventure will be a stacked cake, I suppose. Oh, after I wrote this blurb, I realized that I accidently erased the Easy Bake pics from my camera....what has happened to my photo journaling skills?

Christmas Morning
Oh my gosh!!! I looked up and it was Christmas. Time has flown since Liam was born. It seems like when Halloween passes, everything just goes into fast forward. Liam is now 4 months old, and Madeline will soon be six. Wow, I guess it is true when they say that the time we spend on earth amounts to the blink of an eye in comparison to eternity. Anyway, we had a wonderful Christmas this year. Jason was actually home for the holidays. It was exciting having Liam join our family Christmas. Here are some shots from Christmas morning after Santa Claus had come.

Bathtime
I couldn't help but post these pictures. Liam is so alert during bathtime. He loves getting his hair washed! He is one month old as of today. Time is already flying.

Welcome, Liam
Whew....what a crazy three weeks it has been! We are adjusting to our new addition. Liam is a very good baby, but, man, he is about to eat us out of the house. Liam was born on August 18 at 12:09pm. He weighed 7lbs and 12 oz. He was 19 inches long. Everything went well during the delivery, and I was back on my feet going 90 to nothing in three days. Madeline adores her new brother. Yesterday, we were at Walgreens, and a man offered her $1000 for her baby brother. She said, "no way!" We'll see how long that will last!

Happy Birthday, Our Lil' Firecracker!
It is definitely hard to believe that another year has passed, and we're celebrating Seamus's 2nd Birthday. What a fantastic Bob the Builder party he had, too. It was set up at a park not far from his home where he spends a lot of his free time. It was great to see so many grandparents, aunts, uncles, and friends celebrating this special Fourth of July Birthday for such a special kid! Happy Birthday, Seamus.
